Software Engineer, Developer and chief technology officer at Dotsub.com
I'm a Mac addict, amateur guitarist, video game aficionado and much more.
For the last 6 years, I've poured all my energy and passion into Dotsub.
Dotsub is a browser based, one-stop, self contained system for creating and viewing subtitles for videos in multiple languages across all platforms, including web based, mobile devices, and transcription and video editing systems. It's easy to use, nothing to buy or download, and it's fun. You can upload your videos, transcribe and time caption them, translate them into and from any language, and share them with the world.
Designed and developed a web interface for Espial's IPTV service platform. I was the lead developer and designer for the user interface. (technologies used: JSF, Facelets, MyFaces, Hibernate)
Designed and implemented a distributed VOD (Video on demand) front end for Espial's IPTV client. The initial release of this product included a developer SDK/API that I designed to allow our clients as much customization as possible. (Technologies used: Velocity, Hibernate)
Worked in a fast paced development environment using agile methodologies.
I can be reached via email at firstname @ this domain (dot) ca.
